Joel Evans
is oboist with the Hudson Valley Symphony Orchestra and served for nearly thirty years as principal oboist of the West Point Band. He also plays baroque and historical oboes with “Hudson Valley Baroque” the original instruments ensemble at SUNY New Paltz, where he is Emeritus Professor of music. Joel has performed on Laubin instruments (rosewood, maple, cocobolo
and grenadilla!) throughout most of his career.
